Do you watch movies back to back?

I was tempted to re-watch the Godfather movies this weekend 1-2-3 because they are among my favorite.

After the first one, though I had enough.

My friend, however, went on to watch all 3 in a row...

I can't believe some folks do this.
I need time to digest the plot.
How 'bout yourself?

Most people take 5-10 minute breaks, or make some food inbetween, etc. There's a lot of people who sit a desk 8 hours a day, surely they can watch 4 hours of movies.

You suggest 3 very long movies tho, but I do hear about people doing this with the LOTR trilogy quite often around Christmas for whatever reason.

Movie plots are 95% predictable, what's to digest?

I've done it in the past ,but not very often. All 3 of the original Star Wars movies I've done a few times.

I've watched all the old star wars movies back to back, although I use the word 'watched' quite loosely - it was more like get drunk and stoned while the movies were on a screen nearby...

Watched Clerks, Clerks 2, and J&SB Strike Back in succession about a month or so ago, though I sort of, um, zoned out part way through Clerks 2.

ive had a few 3 movie days in college, usually recovering from hangover or something
not so much anymore, just no time. if i didnt have to work, i could easily watch 1 or 2 movie's a day...

Only at the drive-in I'll sit down and watch 2 movies in a row. If I'm at home I'll get board of sitting on my arse for 4 hours.

usually not unless im doing something else at the same time and hte movie is more or less in the background

I've done it occasionally with some trilogies: Star Wars, LOTR, Indiana Jones, Godfather, etc. I've done Kevin Smith "View Askew" marathons, and there are some movies that are broken up into two parts needlessly (like Kill Bill for example). I'll frequently run movies in the background as I do other stuff, so that probably ups the figure unfairly...

I've watched the exact same movie twice in one sitting. It was 'Waiting'

Omfg how did you manage that? Once was mildly entertaining, but I never want to see that movie again.
