No, not unless I actualyl see something on it, like was residue on my apples, or spiderwebs in my grapes ;)

Depends. For something that grows in a tree, like apples, no. For something that lays on the ground, like watermelons, yes.

exactly what i was thinking ... lol. you eat the stuff INSIDE watermellons, the apples would be more likely to have some sort of spray on them to keep critters away.

Yeah. Watermelon rind is okay. Honeydews might have been a better example.

Candied orange peels are good too.

Most of the time my wife makes me wash all fruits/veggies... but when she is not
around....
