Do you very often sit down to pee?

From reading the squatting over toilet post. I know most men stand up when doing number 1 but do you always? What about at home in your own washroom?

I usually do in the morning or the middle of the night when I'm groggy as hell and don't want to piss all over everything.

Also applies to when I'm piss drunk. hehehe

EDIT: Only at home of course. Don't know how many other jackasses have pissed all over the seat.

Unless I'm taking a dump, I've never in my 34 years sat down to take a leak.

I do, all the time. At home that is...

That's odd.

I've never heard of a man sitting down to pee other than when taking a dump.

Not often. Depends on how lazy I'm feeling and where I'm at. Sometimes it is just a good excuse to pick up a newspaper while everyone else leaves you the hell alone.

I had 4 older sisters. if i left the seat up it was bad.

so i got in the habit of just sitting down. no big deal.

though men are expected to put it down to be polite. can't women do the same? i mean put it up for us?

Same here. It is good to do for politeness sake when sharing a bathroom between genders, but when women go ballistic over seeing a seat up, then it just gets ridiculous. They can put it down as easily as we put it back up. Double standards FTL.

How about a poll?

Yes, I always sit down to pee at my home or a friend's home. It is a cleaner method to urinate that does not splash and there is no chance to miss.

I also close the lid when I am done.

I always put the COVER down because the swirling action sprays molecules into the air, leading to urea and fecal matter on the tooth brush. Cover FTW!

In the name of equality they should... but when has that ever worked?

They can put it down more easily, gravity FTW...

Pollage added.

I have a friend who's wife told him - either piss sitting down or you're responsible for cleaning the bathroom. He pees sitting down.

I was thinking about posting this the other day. I always do at home. Think about it... I live with my wife and the toilet seat is down when I get to it. Rather than lifting a questionably-dirty toilet seat with my hands, removing my junk from my pants with the same hand, and risk missing the hole in the toilet to any degree, I can just drop my pants and sit. Never have to touch the toilet seat or mess with zippers or aim. Nothing easier. Makes no sense to make it harder on yourself, unless you're in a public place and don't know how dirty the stalls are.
