Do you use Zone Alarm? Have you seen this before?

I installed a Cable/DSL router yesterday, and ever since then I get this message some of the time when I restart my machine:

here is a screen shot

It also means that even if I choose cancel, my machine is unable to finish starting correctly. If I restart again, most of the time everything is fine though.

How do I resolve this conflict? Anyone have a clue?

Well, I have seen that before. Usually just waiting for a few seconds is enough for me. If that doesn't work for you, just tell ZoneAlarm not to initialize on startup and then open it once everything else has started up.

I believ that true vector thing is part of ZA.. cause my dad gets it too.. older versions of it doesnt have the TrueVector thing.. later versions do.

did you remove TrueVector from your startup? what OS are you using? It is definitely a part of ZA.

true vector is part of the host of applications that load at startup. check
msconfig (run - msconfig). is it possible you removed it from the startup queue ?

It is part of ZA. I would reinstall ZA on top of itself. This usually fixes problems and keeps your settings.

No, I did not disable any of the ZA components under msconfig options.

wyvrn, I will do as you say and try a re-install.

Cmin7, thanks, I rendered it myself in Bryce5 trial version.
