I use my rig mostly for haulin'... Don't use my laptop much because even after reformatting and installing XP twice, it still crashes every time I try to use IE. I might put Firefox on there and see where that takes me.

Laptop right now. But that's probably because I just got it less than a month ago, the novelty factor hasn't worn off yet. My desktop is more for gaming and storage really.

Laptop for minor surfing etc. Main computer for about anything else.

My biggest beef is the damn laptop runs sooooo damn hot. Of course its a P-III 1GHz so it runs a weeeee bit :) on the warm side. I also have an aversion to laptop keyboards, maybe I have huge fat deformed fingers, but trying to type anything on it is an exercise in futility.

Main rig...my laptop is a P1 with 40mb of ram and a 700mb hard drive. It's just powerful enough to boot windows 98.

If my laptop didn't suck my answer would probably be laptop.

For reference, my laptop is a Thinkpad 486DX2-66;)

Laptop is a HP nw8000. More frequently because I have all manner of Wireless and it's nice to be mobile at home & out/about.

But when dedicating time to workflow or processes I'm in my Office running triple 19" LCD's or at my SOHO with a variety of nicely equipped workstations & 19", 21" Monitors.

Laptop for sure. I'm never going back to a fixed position system unless it's for server duties, and even then I rather remote terminal in from my laptop.

Laptop... D600. Lightweight, fast, and perfect for my needs. I think the 1GB DDRRAM helps with that.

When I want a desktop, I dock it and use dual LCDs. Works awesome.
I know this thing isn't a hoss at graphics, but it runs BF1942 and RoN just fine... the only two casual games I play.

The only other thing I wish it could do is record movies and tv shows.
