Depends on the version of MS Outlook as I've found the "rules" feature has gotten better w/ each release Nocturnal :)

yes, i have a rule configured for e-bill reminders, and another for dell coupons, so they all get sent to their own folder. and of course, the rules set up for spam. the rest, i just leave in my inbox and decide what to do from there with those e-mails.

Yep, I have 30 e-mail addresses they all get moved to separate folders based on which account receives the e-mail ... gets directed to that folder.

Yep, use it a lot for sorting personal, school, and family emails.... also sort out some online mailing list stuff.

Absolutely, but more at work than at home. I use Hotmail as my main personal account (I don't know if Rules can be set up for these accounts in Outlook) so I don't get much use out of them at home, but at work, it has become somewhat of a necessity. With many e-mails flying around, 50% worthless, it makes going through all the information that much easier.

Yep, rules rule. :)

The only thing that sucks is that the stupid TMobile webmail connector can't view subfolders of the inbox, so I don't get text alerts on my phone when I get a new mail that was moved to a subfolder and I can't view any moved msgs on my phone. :disgust:

if you had a better mail client all your email wouldn't get dumped into one place to begin with
