Do you use profanity at work?

Wow, I simply refuse to believe that you people's(non-racist here) bosses don't cuss. All of mine act like the local sewer is in their mouth.

Yes and Yes, to the point that we had a cuss jar (25 cents per).

We collected enough money to buy everyone (six people) lunch. (I only put in 50 cents)
My boss put a stop to it, I think he put about $20 in the jar.

Possibly my work is weird, but I promise everyone there uses the f-word every other word. See, personally it fits me great. I love profanity.

yes and yes...but there are exceptions. i work in a board of education.
so, we curse when we can safely out of earshot (usually). it tends to make me just not curse all that much at work, if a parent heard me...oy.
but, of course, things slip out.

Yes and yes.

The middle finger is a normal component of conversation between me & my boss.

I don't feel too bad though, the CEO does it more than I do.

Profanity is just another part of language... why it is taboo, has always boggled me.

Yes/no. Let's not make this fvcking complex.

This is confusing. Whats considered profanity? like, is damn? Or hell? Like, damn that server! Is that considered profanity? I would think if you said fvck this peice of shyte server, THAT would be profanity. Or what if you said Thats a gay server! Is gay profanity?
This is too complex.....

nope. the enviornment won't allow it. a friend of mine nearly got canned for dropping the f-bomb (several times) in mixed company one day.

One job, yes. Other job (UMPD), fvck no. I'd probably get my ass tossed out on the street if I used profanity around the office. Back when I was doing patrols though, profanity was accepted and prevalent out on road patrol.

I consider quitting swearing now and then, but since my job involves dealing extensively with MCI and Dell tech support, I know it'll never happen.
