Stores/Restaurants need to POST thier CC minimums if they have them.

Except having a CC minimum violates the terms of most cards, so posting such minimums exposes them to being dropped for such a violation. So instead of posting a minimum he'll just try to guilt trip you into paying cash.

I use CC almost everywhere.

Yup, just threaten them with reporting them to the CC company. Unless you are somewhere where they can retaliate, such as a food establishment.

Of course, reporting them is self-defeating because they'll be dropped and then they won't take CC for ANY purchases.

Threaten is all I said.

I've paid for gum with a CC. The only time I get cash out is if I'm going out, then I use cash so I can limit myself.

I always use my credit card. I use it so I can rack up points for a free cruise.
