How so??

Lever 2000 gets the job done around here...

yeah, i dont know how one could really say that one is "better" than the other. it seems basically like opinion.
i, for one, use bar soap. mostly becuase it is super-cheap and it doesnt irritate my skin.

Yeah, I was going to say that a liquid replacement for bar soap would probably be kinda expensive, at least more so than bar soap.

I'd use body wash too if I could find a brand that didn't smell like perfume. There is a market here, I wonder why someone doesn't fill it . . .

Chu, you should use the peppermint soap. It's not "perfumy" and women love it because of the way the peppermint oil effects them. You know how your mouth feels when you eat an Altoid? Yeah, same thing....over your whole body.

Amerdoux and mindwreck, I recommend the Aloe Vera baby-mild version. Don't let the name fool you - same mild all-natural biodegradable soap as the peppermint, no fragrances.

You can even order on-line from the website.
Unintelligible psuedo-religious ramblings included on each label at no extra charge. Where else can you get great gems like:
"A great teacher, must first, a self-supporting hardworker be, like Alesen-Baeck-Carnegie-Coutseau-Hammer-Liebman-Paine-Pike-Sanger-Spinoza-Strauss-Szasz-Wike-Yadin-Zamenhof, or he'll turn our greatest teaching into spades, to bury our people! "All people!", added Carpenter Jesus entering manhood! Manhood! but, for 2000 years, we Rabbis never teach the Moral ABC the real Rabbi Hillel taught Jesus, to unite the Human race in our Eternal Father's great ALL-ONE-GOD-FAITH! For we're ALL-ONE OR NONE! ALL-ONE! For example: Einstein's Rabbi Levey evicted us from his University Princeton "Hillel Foundation", when we asked "You agree, of course, that Hillel's hard work-speech-press-&-profitsharing Moral ABC, unites the Human race, in our Eternal Father's great ALL-ONE-GOD-FAITH! The exact opposite to Marxist-Socialism that does demoralize-divide-decay the whole human race today!"
That's straight off the bottle of peppermint soap. You get tingly from the peppermint oil and then start to read the label and it almost sounds like complete sentences.

Bizarre as Dr. Bronner was (great write-up on him in The Straight Dope), he really did make awesome soap. I don't work for them, I've been using it for 6-7 years. A large bottle is around $10 and lasts me almost a year.

I'm a liquid soap/body wash man, as you might have guessed.

I almost hate to admit it, but body wash works about 100 times better than bar soap. I have not had a single pimple on my body since moving to body wash, and just feel cleaner.

Ironically, I first tried body wash when I was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in fall 2001. The little military commissary run by the host nation had this Nivea eucalyptus body wash that I decided to try. I have never switched back.

I use body wash when I wanna smell especially girly and soap when I just want to be clean. I want to be clean more often than I want to smell girly so I voted soap.

i kind of switch off, but i disagree with most of you. to me it seems like bar soap actually lasts longer.

body wash. I use dove, which doesn't have a perfume-ish smell.

bar soap just doesn't make me feel as clean... I haven't used it since I was, like, 13.
