Wondering what everyone is using. I am looking for something more interesting than just a basic windows sound. Anyone have any funny clips or cool sound notifiers that you use? Post them here.

I used to use a sound clip from Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail.

It was the sound of an arrow coming in and hitting someone with the "horse" going "Message for you sir!".

Now I just have all sounds turned off.

i used to have the "you've got mail" followed by cartman saying "kick ass!", but i don't anymore. silence is the current option.

yeah. the funny ones always seem to get old really quickly, and then you drop back down to the standard beep (or nothing at all)

Reformated though and now i just have the default sound

Everytime i see a movie and they have those intricate graphics and sounds that last minutes to show the actors they have mail...i always have to chuckle and think to myself..man that has to get annoying pretty quick..

Used to use this one too, among others, now, nothing.

I use "notify.wav" from the /MEDIA directory of Windows. It's the sound that was default in Windows 2000 and when I set up XP to look just like 2K, I set all the sounds the same as 2K also. It's nice and plain and it doesn't interrupt me if I'm doing something important.
