If you do use it, do you think its worth it?

$500+ base; $79.99 plan +taxes (about $90 per month = $1080 yr)

Im currently paying about $49 per month for just regular service, now considering this nifty cell phone upgrade to access email anywhere and visit AT.

I used a pocket pc phone edition pda for tmobile, and realized I wasn't that huge of a power user to need it. So I switched to an mpx200 smartphone, which is perfect for what I need. Contacts, web browsing, note taking, and checking emails. With a little NES emulation thrown in for good measure ;)

If all you're using it for is AT and email, then a smartphone would be fine for you. Just realize that the tmobile network speeds are pretty slow for surfing comfortably, except for wap sites. I like to surf whenever I'm not doing anything, like waiting in line at the dmv or something, then it really comes in handy. The mpx200 is also nice because of it's form factor. If you're more of a gadgety type of guy, then you'll love the hp 6315 though.

Yup, I love gadgets. I ordered it today and the total came out to $514.00

Ill have 14 days to see if its worth it or not. Ive been a TMobile customer 5 years now, so I wont get whacked going back to normal service later on.

The idea is interesting, but the tech is so immature right now. You simply cant browse at a speed that is fast enough to not be aggravating.

If youre talking about surfing in your house with wifi, you are much better off with a tablet pc, which is practically the same price. Damn, thats an expensive PDA.

Congrats, it's a little too big for my tastes in a cell phone capable device, but I'm pretty fussy.

Congrats on the purchase :)

I highly suggest that you purchase thunderhawk. Its a internet browser for pocket pcs that formats the page for the pocket pc. With it you can view basically any site normaly on a pocket pc :)

got a factory refurbished toshiba e740 with wifi a year ago.... there's something special about sitting in 8am lecture with cofee reading google news and INQ...(laptops are not a part of my college's accepted culture yet outside of chained to dorm desks) I use it for AIM, surfing, email and occasionally banking on the run. Great gismo.

Pocket PCs have a tiny version of outlook on them. For syncing I' expect it to be like any PDA and use activesync but I've never used one of those phone ones.

Got it. Love it. Keeping it.

The other day I was in a long drive through line at Chick Fila, got an question from someone about an item for sale over Tmobile GPRS, typed out a quick response, placed my order, paid for and got the food. About 30 mins later he used decided to buy and wrote back to thank me for the quick answer to his question.

Too cool.

The PDA uses outlook. I gave outlook a whirl when I got Office 2003 profesional, but I just cant stop using the more efficient and less cumbersome Outlook Express. So I ddnt install it from the Active Sync software CD, yet.

I have my Sony Clie PEG-TJ37 and it's net capable.

Needless to say I don't feel like paying bandwidth bills. If I could just bum off of the 801.1 waves that'd be neat, but sadly no. =0,

In that case I guess you're the wrong person to ask about if Exchange 2k3 pushes email to it well.

I'd love to get one of these, but only if its push functionality is as good as our Blackberries/BES. Haven't gotten a chance to read up on this, nor do I or any of our clients have devices to test it with.

EDIT: Ugh...detachable keyboard...nevermind. Gotta be built in.

EDIT2: Not real push...boo!!! Why can't anyone but RIM get this right?
