Do you use Adaware or Spybot?

Which one do you prefer or run before the other one if you use both?

The reason I ask is that the school I attend pushes Adaware and I agree with them but I'd like to know what others do.

Adware is primary... but do have Spybot installed and run it occasionally.

Most definitely BOTH!

They complement each other, as they both take different approaches to scanning
for the nasties and will find what the other sometimes cannot.

Ciao for now,

I run both together as well. If i have the time to run Adaware, i have the time to run Spybot as well.

If if was going to just use one, I think it would be spybot, as it seems to be a tiny bit more thorough than adaware. But, like everyone else here, I'm happy to use both.

I use Ad-aware on all my systems, both at home and work. If I was really paranoid I'd run both but I'm not so I don't.

I run both as well. Ad-Aware will typically miss some things that Spybot doesn't, and the other way around. I like spybot's passive blocking of known threats though.... I never could get accustomed to Ad-Watch.

I've found that Spybot is faster than Adaware.
Spybot catches things that Adaware doesn't catch.
Spybot updates regularly.
Spybot is free.
Spybot lets me lock down IE to unauthorized changes.
