Do you use a single or double space after a full stop and question mark/exclamation mark when typing?

I use single myself...but i used to use double, no idea when i changed. I think it's just easier when typing...

Double.

Even though I believe it's techincally only supposed to be a single-space when typing on the computer, and double-space when using a typewriter.

Double. Its supposed to be double.

I usually do single on typing tests though, just for that extra split second.

actually it's not, reading Wiki 😉

Because wiki is never wrong!

I use single.

Wiki never said it was wrong anyway. Just because something is the norm doesn't make it right since the correct spacing is 1.5. Of course, this is one of the couple of times that because of such widespread usage, it has become accepted. That, and with current tech, software is smart enough to make the 1.5 worth of space, but then 2 spaces is still how it should be. Its just been ingrained into me to put two spaces while typing, but I also program, so I guess its just habit when I'm typing normal sentances, I use two spaces, and one when I'm programming.

lol, i never said you were wrong either, merely that wiki says it isn't the only correct way 😉

It's supposed to be double back in the days of the typewritter, but now with computers, there's no need for the second space since the space kerning is identifiable.
