I guess you can never be too careful though. You never know when a midget is going to run up and kick you in the nuts while you are gargling.

I do that, but I know people who just place the brush under the running water for a few seconds, but I've noticed that that doesn't really clean your toothbrush completely.

No, I have a pressure washer in my bathroom.

Nope. I get the water in my mouth from faucet without the aid of a cup/glass. That's when I use toothpaste, which I don't always use. Use an electric toothbrush, almost always.

edit: I use my hands if I'm not in a shower.

We have mandatory water rationing around here.

Using my electric, I just rinse it for a second under the faucet, turn on the brush for a second to shake off the excess and turn it off, let it air dry. Quick and simple.

Bunch of animals you people are. I use one of those 64 oz. giant gulp cups from 7 Eleven.

I do the cup-thing with my hand. And then I scrub the head of the toothbrush with my thumb to get all the suds out.

Do people brush with their mouth open or mouth closed?

Why the hell would anyone use a cup to brush their teeth when a simple device called the toothbrush does such a MUCH better job?

BTW, I use my hand as a cup to rinse with.

No, I only wear a cup when I need to protect the boys during contact sports.

When I brush my teeth, it's not that physically exerting.

As a kid I did because my parents did (and still do). One time my grandfather was visiting and he told me that "a real man doesn't need a cup". So, I learned to cup some water in my hand and haven't used a real cup ever since :D

If by kick you mean head butt, then yes, you really never know.

Same here...

The way I see it the fluoride residue helps protect my teeth.

that residue just goes into my stomach because of my saliva, so I just rinse instead of having upset tummy.
