I was working on a project and the project manager wanted us all to use Twitter to discuss the project. Sounded like a good idea, but the idiot did nothing except make stupid personal comments endlessly. I learned very quickly that I didn't want to work on this project, so I resigned.

Twitter was useful, it probably would have taken a lot longer to discover that this guy was wasting my time without it.

Holy shit! That's my hometown of Harrisonburg VA he is at

Hburg is your hometown? I spent 4 years there at JMU. Had an awesome time.

I'm heading down for homecoming this weekend I think. I hear fucking Dave's Taverna raised prices on the $2 pitchers.

HAHA awesome! I liked Dave's burgers best, never really was much of a drinker. Although you know the best dogs you can buy are Jesse's Lunch 😉

I'm actually surprised there aren't more people who are using Twitter. 😕
ATOT, you disappoint me! 😱
It disappoints me that even a minority of people here use it.
You have a problem with minorities?!

I have a Twitter account and have made a few tweets - but I found it dumb and a waste of time and no longer concern myself with it.

I just randomly decided to check my Myspace account after a couple of months since the last time I checked it - and I was again reminded that I found it rather pointless (for the most part).

Yes. It's usefulness is directly proportional to the amount of people you can follow. It's good for news and keeping up to the minute on almost everything.

I tried it... just cant remember to keep updating it whenever I do something. I had it on my myspace page but realized its easier to just update my myspace status.

I love Jess's, and I have a good understanding of what's in the chili. It's so good it doesn't matter 🙂

I think I'm the first person in this thread to say yes and then show their twitter page. I follow only web designers and close friends. Its actually pretty damn good for social networking and has gotten me some design work.

Text

If I wasn't doing design I couldn't imagine a use for it.

yes, its an amazing social networking tool

i have several accounts, none of which i want to share with people here who can't seem to think outside the box

I use it to send text message updates to my phone instead of emailing them to my phone number. I like them to all stay in one thread instead of having a seperate number come up for each message. I'm sure that's not their intention but it works great.

Why would you want to send text messages to your own phone?
