Of course. I actually read my contract and read what I sign. They are bound by law.

And change your poll. NO INSURANCE COMPANY denies medical treatement.

welcome to the real world kiddo. No HOSPITAL denies medical treatment.

This.

Insurance companies don't deny treatment, they just refuse to pay for it quite often...which is pretty much the same thing. Medical facilities in this country are already giving away as much care as they can without going broke.

Spidey07's ill thought-out rants aside, think about this:

What SHOULD be nonprofit - your hospital, your health insurance, or both?

Most hospitals already are. Profits generated are rolled back into better equipment, facilities, etc. Health insurance profits are rolled into CEO bonuses.

I'm with Bill Maher...not everything has to make a profit. I especially don't think it's necessary in an industry where profit directly opposes improving people's health and quality of life.

Let people put their money in stocks in other industries.

Should Insurance companies make such large profits?
Yes, they deserve to own yachts!
No, they are denying people medical treatment to make those profits!

Talk about a biased question.
