so i was talking to a friend that took her car in for service and she told me she tips the courtesy shuttle driver from the dealer

now that is something that has never occuried to me as something to do....

i figure they are normally paid employees of the dealership and dont rely on tips for income.

I tipped the Courtesy Hotel Van than goes around the expensive hotels, well not really expensive but like Radisson and Hilton etc. I figure i'm getting a free ride to the airport and don't have to pay for a cab, so i give the guy a few bucks.

Edit: plus he help me get my bags down.

Hell no!
Tipping has gone to far. Just as dumb as tipping the UPS/FedEx guy.

Last time I tried he wouldn't accept it, said it was against company policy.
