i was eating at this italian restaurant, they had this guy walking around playing some accordian, he didn't actually stop at my table but just wondering if he did if I was suppose to tip him and how much

I would have given him a few dollars. Probably two or three dollars, a five if I was in a good mood.

I hope that never happens to me, because I don't want to stop conversation to listen to music yet I would still feel obligated to tip something. I wonder if you can just "wave him on by".

<< maybe a couple of bucks, something symbolic. the house isn't paying them $hit probably. >>

Definately tip if they play for you...I'm sure you could wave them off if you wanted.

The musician wins in this situation. If he is lousy you tip him to get rid of him and if he is good well you tip him also.🙂

Win win

oh if he plays at my table he gets a tip.
