do you thinks these temps seem reasonable?

I have an AYHJA 1333 on an ABIT KT133A running at 1500 (150*10 stock voltage), my case temp is curently reported by MBM 5 to be 82 F with an idle temp of 84 F and a full load temp of aprox 111F

This is with a Volcano 7 and artic silver, there is also a blow hole in the side of the case with a duct blowing air directly onto the Volcano 7.

My friend says my temps are totally unrealistic and that my probe must be off or not making contact with the cpu... I tried to bend it up so that it was just touching the cpu last time I reseated the CPU..

so what do you guys think? am I way off or is his setup just sucky? (130F temps)

I have an AYHJA 1.4 on the Abit KG7-Raid running stock. I am also using MBM 5 with case temp at 69, but cpu idle is usually 115, which for some reason i think is abnormally high, but my full load is 125ish. I actually use Celsius, so to be accurate, case temp: 21, idle 48, full 52. I am using SK-6 with 80mm Thermaltake 34cfm fan and ASII in an Antec 600 series case. I do not have side blow hole. Is your friend also using the same setup you are?

So I don't think there is anything wrong with it, but I have a feeling there is something wrong with my idle temp.

he is also using an SK6 with an 80mm fan (not sure of the make) no he doesn't have a blow hole on the side, but he does have one on top to remove hot air, that wont cool the cpu as well as mine but it helps

Hey another thing I forgot to mention. I have been having problems seating my heatsink. Everytime I seat it, it will never be the same as before. Obviously, if you are able to center the heatsink on the core as best as possible, you will have a better cooling solution. That will variate everytime you set it, just as your friends will. So maybe he just didn't set it very well or maybe you set it perfectly. So, it temps can change depending on the seating.
