Do you think your car has a lot of miles?

my dad's ford econoline had more than 9 hundred thousand (rolled at least 9 times while he had it). It was basicly a delivery truck and he drove it 10 hours a day for something like 10 years. More junkyard parts went into that thing than I could count.

My dad's 94 intrepid has 225k on it...

My 96 Blazer has 179K on it

Mom's 97 Lumina has 142K on it

All have the original engine and transmissions in them...

I have 200,000 miles on my '91 Lumina car but it had a new engine put in at around 158,000. I cannot wait to get a new car, I've had this one since like sophomore of high school (I'm 23 now).

My first car was an 85 Mercedes-Benz 300SD (5 cylinder turbo diesel). Got it with 225,000 miles on it and sold it with a whee over 300k.

Now my current car only has 57,500 miles and it is a 1999. so it feels like nothing.

see sig. 🙂 203,000, and runs perfectly. the interior is in great condition, it doesn't make weird noises, it pulls hard when you step on it... it does everything as well as the day it was made. anyone with less than 150K-200K who thinks their mileage is high is probably driving an american car. 🙂

My sisters toyota hit 900k. My last astro hit 435k before I got hit.

that's crazy about the astro, considering they are probably the least reliable van on the planet. how many transmissions have you gone through, 5 or 6? every now and then you get a magic car, though.

My 1990 Tercel has 159k.

My 1980 Chevy C10 has 146k.

My Dad's 1987 Camry has 198k.

My brother's 1988 Accord has 265k.

My brother's 1979 LeSabre has either 148k or 248k .. 5 digit odometer FTW!

My 99 Saturn SL2 is almost at 85,000 miles. No problems with the engine, transmission or drivetrain. Definitely going to end up driving it till it falls apart. Only major issue I've had is the PCM flipped out on it a while back. That was nice and expensive. Other than that, pretty much just standard maintenance.

I also have never owned a car with less than 100k...but right now my highest mileage vehicle is just shy of 200k. I sold the Celica at 240k.

My 97 Dodge Ram 1500 is about to hit 120,000. Unfortunately it is having one component fail every other month, to the point where I am spending about $500 so far this year.

All in thousands of kilometers:

86 Parisienne - 343
91 Topaz - 208
92 Topaz - 208
92 Tempo - 62
94 Saturn - 120
95 Saturn - 233

Had a '87 Acura Legend coupe with 275K miles on it when I gave it away. Still running strong on the original engine. It's well over the 300K mark now last I heard from my cousin whom I gave it to.
