I see it going the transformers route. Super excited for first one. Meh, but I'll still go see the second one. OK fucker you're not fooling me a third time. Thanks for ruining my childhood!

Go? As in, "go to a theater?" 😱 Not fucking likely...but I MIGHT rent it once it hits the Redbox.

I don't like Star Wars. I enjoyed the first when it came out, but it hasn't held up well. What I've seen past the first three, it isn't worth watching on tv.

Keep an open mind, you have no idea what the next Star War movies will be like. Like you, I liked the first 3 movies and was disappointed with the more recent ones but I am hopeful.

Nailed it. I have my hopes up, but I won't be surprised when I'm let down.

Probably. I liked Alias and Super 8 so I'll give the first one a shot.

I voted no, partly because of EP1 - 3 and how dire they were, and partly because the new Star Trek movies are pretty crap IMO. The trailer would have to show some really surprisingly brilliant idea off in order to tempt me, but I'm also remembering how great the trailers were for EP1, so I'm doubly cautious.

I remember being initially cautious of Batman Begins when that was first announced, but the line-up and the first trailer won me over with ease.

Yep. I have my suspicions but I've always loved Star Wars so I'll be there with my $40 small popcorn and my $22 small soda

Probably no, but whether or not I see it likely depends on where it falls on the tomatometer. If it gets great reviews, my curiousity will probably win out.

Probably. I love Star Wars. Though I'll probably hold off going opening week to see what the fan reviews are. I think what we'll end up with is something similar to the two Trek films he directed. JJ Abrams knows expectations are high for this one. He's not going to laze through them like Lucas did.

Odds are it won't be as bad as the prequels. Even Tommy Wiseau and Ed Wood couldn't pull off that level of crap, even with their powers combined. 😛

I actually kind of liked Episode 3. I'm probably crazy, and it could be just because I had watched the first two awful ones right before it, but there was some stuff I liked in it. Best part was Hayden Christensen becoming deformed of course, but a couple of other things were ok too as I recall.

Episode 2 was so painfully bad though, I can't really remember anything redeeming in that one. Not just a bad Star Wars movie, but a bad movie period. D:

Wasn't a fan of the newest episodes, and with Lucas not involved with episode 7 I am skeptical that I will be excited to see this one. But let's see what the reviews when this thing gets released.

It'll probably be awful now that Disney is trying to milk it for all it's worth and it'll be blinding from all the lens flares.

Will go to midnight showing. 🙁 *sigh*
