Why can't we have more humor in the world? It's all business, serious business, most of the time.

My life has become increasingly serious since graduating college. Fucking high stress job affecting my personal life. I hate it.

And I'm undercompensated to boot.

I'm serious only because I have to be. Sometimes that carries over into my personal life.

That doesn't mean I'm the type that can't have a good time though. I know when to let loose, and I typically don't obsess over the small things.

Me too.

And a lot of times, people don't get my sarcasm so I'll make a joke about something and they'll think I'm serious about it.

I should probably be more serious. I laugh/joke/smile quite a bit everyday.

I appear serious if I'm in public or know someone is looking at me. If I'm with someone I know or think I'm alone, I act like a retard. Can't win either way...

I am not too serious, and in fact am quite the opposite. I might be too abrasive though in my humor at times. People take my humor as being serious a lot, because I have a fairly "dry" sense of humor. I am a very sarcastic person, but the world doesn't seem to like people that aren't serious....

Why so serious?

I gladly would have spent more time there if I had the chance. Sucks to have to pay your own way through.

And it's not that I don't like working. I graduated more than 3 years ago; I'm not some wet behind the ears kid pining for the party life that I left behind. I just think I've been shafted by my current employer.
