Why not just let us use a web location for our avatar, like every other board on the net does. To be blunt, these default ones stink.

Oh ya, and before you say "Because someone'll use a dirty picture", I say, "If someone uses one, and gets caught, they're banned for life or at least for a long time. No questions asked."

Yea, when some foreigners blow up a few of your countries biggest landmarks, killing thousands, then you can have your avatar, but it's not likely until that happens, since that is what it took to get the United States Flag.

Don't take it personally, but it's the truth, we didn't have our flag here before and when this blows over i'll bet they take the US flag down too.

BTW, it really wouldn't bother me as much if people didn't start asking for their countries flags until after we got the US flag after sept. 11. Come on, that is just childish to want it just because the US has one, it's a US run site anyhow and there is a reason it was added. It would not have been added had not been for sept. 11

No they won't. This won't "blow over" for many many years to come and even if it does, people will just complain until they decide to keep it permanently.

Oh sure, its a US run website, but you would not need 180 flags. The vast majority of users are form the US and Canada, with very very few from the UK.
