it isnt even a real signature and does not claim to be:

"Signature stamp of Shigeru Miyamoto"

Quote from the auction:

"Signature stamp of Shigeru Miyamoto "

Not worth a hill of beans. Wait for the Lite.

Why would he sign acrossed the top display and not the back or someting?

He did.

How do you know?

Cause I saw this DS in person.

I live about 100 miles away from Jersey City.

O RLY?

Just because I don't live near him doesn't mean I don't hang out with him.

That's a heckuva commute just to hang with a friend.

It's not my auction, I don't know how to prove this to you, and if I did get my DS signed, I wouldn't sell it, I'd keep it as collectable.

It's not signed, its a skin with a stamp of his signature on it.

And it's on an obsolete DS. Junk!

I know how to prove it, look at the seller's name, then look at my name in my profile.

LOL! Its not broken. Its a glare on the screens, its not beat up.

Also there was a big event last semester for the grand opening of the nintendo world in NYC. My friend went to it and got his guitar signed.
So this sounds legit to me.
