Maybe I should try a different knot?

Try a tighter--MUCH tighter knot. ;)

Wow...wish I had suggested that 10 minutes earlier.

Oh...wait....

Don't you just hate it what that happened?

yeah...I get it that sometimes have similar thoughts, but to quote a post AFTER my original quote with almost the exact same wording is just sad. But it did make me laugh, too.

I got a bowtie knot done, but it doesn't look very bow-ish: http://pics.bbzzdd.com/users/sm8000/bowtie1.jpg

I then tried a bow using the style of knot shoelaces are tied with, and while it looks more bow-ish it is about as tight as most people in this thread are wishing, which is a little beyond my comfort zone.

So I'm going back to the necktie look. I think it'll catch on more than eating your Snickers with a knife and fork.

Dude...while I'm not really a fan of your new fashion trend, here's a  for coming up with a 2nd pic of a bad idea.

Plus...you look like you would be a really hilarious drunk. :D

Yes, that looks much better. I suggest you wear it that way.

I actually tried that. The thing is this scarf is folded in half, then in half again. It would need to be much longer to compensate for how thick it is - there's not enough slack to complete the knot.
