Sure. I would push him out the door, next time, at 30,000 feet as should be the fate of any who criticize His Presence, The Obamalama.

Why is he making such a big deal about comparing the size of Britain to Oregon?

who authored it? maybe it's the same briefing book they've used for decades, and that the info is taken from the CIA factbook pretty much confirms it was cobbled together from existing docs. Most of that info is not new. The brit doth protest too much methinks.

I totally understand.. Oregon is a bunch of a liberal hippie pot smoking slackers. I wouldn't want to be associated with them either.

Can't open the door at that altitude. Have to drop below 10,000 and depressurize the cabin first. Then he can have his "accident".

Hah... that reminds me of the episode of the West Wing where they asked two of the speechwriters to research information on some country that was in a crisis, and they came back with stuff out of the encyclopedia.

More likely they're tickled pink, like the commies they are. But I love the fact that fear no evil walks around reeking of fear.

Umm, The press that are on Airforce One are major players in the US media, yes?

Why the fuck would they need a press kit telling them that, its their job to know that stuff, and in more detail than the government press relations people.

hahaha, I love it. More frustration from the dental hygiene-limited limeys about their relationship with the USA. The comments in the article are awesome, too. They're so scared of losing their so-called "special" relationship with the US following Obama's election. I guess this is what happens when history catches up to you.

He took a huge dump in the bathroom on Air Force One and stunk up the whole plane.

It's like advertising an apartment saying it's 'about the size of an industrial sewage tank'... it might be true but it's not exactly flattering...

Me thinks this reporter is the only person on that aircraft that actually read through that fact sheet and, sitting there bored stiff with too much time on his hands, he did what reporters do best: he trigg'ed out an angle to "make meat out of hay the easy way".

I dont think the Brits are insulted, we are just a bit  and  that the press would need information explained to them in those terms.

Frustration does not mean someone is insulted. There is an undeniable amount of concern and whining from the British regarding the degradation of the relationship between the two countries.

So Oregon is an industrial sewage tank? Congratulations, you just beat out Fear No Evil for most retarded thing said in this thread (and that's no small feat). Maybe, just maybe, the CIA Factbook where this information was gleaned from contains references to locations that people from the USA might be more familiar with (assuming anyone isn't familiar with Britain, which admittedly is hard to believe in an increasingly global society). Oregon is a state in the US; I can't think of a single reason people in the United States might be more familiar with the size of Oregon than of Great Britain, can you? It's akin to saying "London, an urban area roughly the size of Chicago." That's not immediately implying that London is a festering, dank, rotting hellpit entirely peopled with rapists and tax attorneys. It's making a comparison between an area people are not familiar with and one they are to give them a better understanding of what to expect. It's a simple comparison... Where the hell does the "not flattering" part come in?

It's an insult to compare Britain to any mortal realm, heathen.
