It'll take a series of extraordinary events for the dollar to collapse completely. I have a little faith in the fed that they won't let it get to that.

Give it two years, and the dollar will be hovering near the euro again.

let's just say that the economy is in the gutters. the NIS vs. the Dollar has gotten to the lowest point since 1997. and each day, it keep going down. the situation sucks.

If the dollar collapses it would affect the world too much but I think that it'll correct itself in a few weeks.

thats being generous. It will take at least 2 years. No way that it's collapsing, but no way that it's going to recover so quickly.

...vs other currencies? Um, no. The US and EU GDPs and quality of life are roughly equivalent, but the dollar's purchasing power is way outpaced by that of the Euro. The USD is in trouble.
