it says that it works good with a game console? so do you think it would sound good or better then my reg 2 tv built in speakers?
and also what about for a DVD player??

aUt0eXebat - Those speakers will definitely be better than your built in TV ones... you will get improved sound for your N64...

However, when it comes to DVD, you won't get the DTS/DD features that you would find in a more expensive HT set up...

IF you're fine w/o having the 5.1 features, and just adequate front speakers, then that's a good buy... if you want the extra features...

Then save up ;)

cus i dont wanna spend more then that...... i dont care much about the special stuff right now, ill worry about it when i get my HDTV setup someday

those speakers are going to be great!!, go for it. And they look really nice too.

hook it up to your TV, and just mute the TV altogether.

I remember back in the day when a mini system could be bought without the 500 flashing multicolor LED's that serve no function

I dont know if your in a bind for cash then I might doit.I have always been a big fan of purchasing seperate conponents.Most all stereos come with inpts that you can hook your &quot;gaming&quot; system into gunbuster nailed it.Id build a system slowly just get a good reciver an some good speakers.
