Do you think that new show "Surface" looks good

I like the show, although I am impartial since I lived in Wilmington while it was being filmed. I met Rade Serbedzija (Boris the Blade) and one of the directors one night at a bar, and he bought me a drink so I felt I owed it to them to at least watch it.

It got good a handful of eps back when they went down in that tank... things finally started to happen on the show... and then they end it like this... terrible. How many ideas did they rip off from other shows/real world events ? Deep Impact came to mind on more than one occasion. :thumbsdown:

I always like seeing things through to the end but this one... I just wonder what other events they'll mimic... I really don't care if it doesn't come back.

I always laugh when I think about them using the life raft to emerge from the ocean floor. Scientific miracle!

Heh, when Rich was going crazy early in the season and drawing all the holes I immediately thought, "I can't believe they are ripping off Close Encounters of the Third Kind."

They better bring the show back. That was a horrible cliff hanger on which to end the season. We learned absolutely nothing new about the mystery/motivations behind the creatures.
 
Assuming that it doesn't come back, this summer/fall when they start plugging their new programming I think I'll write them and tell them I'm not interested if they aren't going to finish what they start.

They will feel the mighty wrath of my email 🙁

I just saw the season finally last night. Finally Miles met Rich and Laura... remember that early episode when Rich and Miles talked online for a few minutes.
Nim is just awesome.

In general the plot is a little weird but it does break the change from all the CSI shows.

Honestly, say what you want, this has been my fave TV show this season 😀

I sooooo hope they don't cancel this, as it's been an awesomely entertaining show 😀

They had BETTER bring it back. The storyline was just awesome and even with the cheesy special effects I was still "pulled in" to the acition.

good shows like surface and invasion? Invasion was one of the worst shows I can remember in recent history. Mundane repetitive plots, horrid actors, horrid writing, awful characters, cliche after cliche.......Pretty much the same for Surface....but at least Surface was a bit unique, I can't recall a series ever about creatures from the deep, that aspect was at leats interesting
