It better not be, unless of course you really want to slap all the men who died at Pearl Harbor in the face.
Sort of. Remember we were at peace when Pearl was attacked. If 9/11 is made a holiday then it's a slap in the face to the men who died at Pearl and their memory.yeah, i agree. then again, i think the magnitude of what happened on 9/11 was greater than that of pearl harbor. those who died at PH were people who had voluntarily risked their lives for their country. those who died on 9/11 were innocent civilians.

we would have to stop having another holiday as a national holiday if Sept 11th was one. No way employers would pay for another paid holiday.
I'm not trying to be a dick here, i truely believe that.

I feel that it is an event that touched each of us deeply, yet in different ways. It is something not to celebrate with coverage on TV in their ?sweeps-week? like coverage, but it should be done with your family, friends, and community to remember those lost, and celebrate our Nation?s resolve.

I don't think it'll become a holiday, but I am curious as to what all will happen on Sept 11, 2002. We'll see.
Is December 7th a holiday?
