Upon further reflection i do do this.....even though I dont drive a mercedes I dont know why someone would buy the lowest end model C-class(c-230) or th elowest end model 3 - series. WHY? cuz of stupidity not wealth reasons. Why drive a german car with no balls or style. get an american car if you want that. You are spending a bunch of money on this car why not get the extras that make it a nicer automobile than other cars in its class.

the new 760li's start at like 120...decked out closer to 150 or more which is comparable to a bentley. Anything more than that and it should be a car to be driven in not a car to be driving.
I hate to say this, but BMW drivers do seem to be noticeably more arrogant and "this road was built for me and me alone"-ish than others.
That said, I know a guy who drives a BMW and is a rather nice person. He says he can't catch a break AT ALL when driving. People won't let him merge or ANYTHING.

Well the only case I can think of that I think of this is the damned Lexus ES330/300, man those cars are such POSs it's disgusting. It's like, if you're going to buy a car for $30K, why not get a used high end car or get a high end model of a lower brand/different brand. High end nissan would pwn a low end lexus. But yea, buying a low end luxury car just looks bad, the ES models from lexus have NOTHING going for them.
Lets face it as long as you are still driving your car you are not a real baller. Ballers get driven around in the back of maybachs and phantoms.

So why don't you go start a new thread asking if people look down on other posters whose quality of posts is comparable to an entry level beamer when judged against the value of the average ATOT thread.
people vary, I don't understand why you should care about the attitudes of those who feel good about themselves because they drive a more expensive car. I mean, these are the type of people you should not be concerned with.
Do you look down on some dude in taiwan on a bike because your "ride" is a car? I mean, that is a heck of a lot bigger gap there, so you certainly must look down on that guy.
Do you see some dude with a bike asking if people with an entry level BMW look down on him? NO! you know why? because that dude's brainpower is no doubt ten billion times what you have. And I'm sure he looks down on you and your puny brain because he has an "entry level" brain.
I used to worry about the future of a world full of people with such "concerns" as yours, but I give up.

I quite like the E30 M3's, shame they were only left hand drive's.

Which reminds me, I don't drive my Vette, Z28, or Goat in bad weather... at all. I drive my beat up old Trans AM. I went to the gas station to fill it up and notice a woman filling up her newish C class MB. The car was covered in filth and grime from the rain soaked roads. She looked at my car, snickered a bit, and then laughed. I suppose she thought it was funny to see someone wearing nice business clothes driving a rusty old car. I could tell she was trying to be insulting about it too. I smiled back and drove off, smoke plume and all.
