Yes he can have all the eye candy and high quality setting in npanel 1080p 4xAA 16xAF vsync on

My BF2 doesnt ever fall below 60fps ,,, My system will pown BF3 as will most of yours.

Honestly this is the stupidest question I have seen in my life.

Can my 2500k 6970 handle BF3 ... one of the fastest CPU and one of fastest video cards and your asking if you can play. Very dumb,, go do research how fast and powerful the CPU is or GPU for dat matter. You need a lesson in common sense.

I'm curious, do you think my pc will be able to run BF3 @ 1920x1200? This is the only game that I'm really excited for this year. I was able to run Witcher 2 on ultra settings (with ubersampling off) @ 1920X1200 and got somewhere between 27-35 frames. My current set up is:

cpu: Core i5 2500k (stock)
gpu: XFX HD 6870 Black Edition (Core clock @ 940Mhz, memory clock at 4.6Ghz)
Memory: 4GB Corsair Vengeance
Hard Drive: 1TB Low powered 5900RPM. (I'll have to upgrade this in the future...)

Or do you guys think i should upgrade to a HD 6970 by the time BF3 is out?

in my personal experience intel is bad at gaming, especially the chips with HT. Better go pick up an AMD.

Hey R-tard, why don't you learn how to read one's post before commenting? My original post stated I had a 6870 graphics card, not a 6970. Next time I think it'd be wise for you to learn how to read before commenting. I've done my research and I know the 6970 is already one of the fastest gpu's on the market. Why don't you stop trolling and get a job, buddy.

easily.
and upgrade is only justified if fps isn't good enough with the settings you play.
and besides, since 7000 series is out this autumn, I wait for game and cards.
People had good fps in alpha with similar rigs and even if things adds up in retail, I wouldnt worry.

At high resolutions and maximum eye candy, your 560 will not handle BF3 at acceptable frame rates. Comparing it to BF2? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

To the OP, bump up to 8GB of Ram for now and wait til the Beta comes out in the next month.
