Do you think it would be dangerous to drink Coke and chew gum at the same time?

I'm thinking the acidity of the Coke would partially demineralize the outer layer of the tooth, and then the gum would sweep those minerals away (not given them a chance to harden again)

Well, years ago I did this many times and I've had a few cavities, so you may be right.
