If we wanted to fight a war Bush should have just come out and said it. Trust me if we invade either Iran or north korea were going to have China and russia breathing down our neck. And you are right we are in a war one for global supremecy under the guise of anti terrorism.

Sounds just like the previous one, the Cold War. Hey look we even have veterans of it in Rumsfield and Chenney.

The one thing that pisses me off about the whole situation is the fact that so much deciveing is going on. As an american i dont like being coddled and it is wrong for the government to have to decive us into somthing. They should have asked and gave us the real facts not the cherry picked ones and then let us make a decesion. Is there any difference between being decived and just being told your gonna do somthing other than the feel good illusion of democracy.

I don't know. It is possible.

It is possible to piggy-back a limited weapons program on civillian power generation. Uranium for power plants could be further enriched for use in weapons. The same equipment is used, it just takes longer (assuming the use of centrifuges).

Reproccessing of spent fuel can yeld Plutonium. This can also be seperated in the same equipment as the Uranium

A full scale, weapons only, production program is much harder to hide.

That's just it, if Bush hadn't fibbed like he was crazy odds are he wouldn't have gotten his adventure. He played the fear card and we fell over like stick-figures.
