Do you think every illegal immigrant should be deported?

Most of the illegal immigrants I have met truly work their asses off every day.
So did my parents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. They all came here legally.
And to be quite honest, there is no way in hell I would want to do some of the jobs that they do (let alone the amount they get paid).
It shouldn't be a reason to allow businesses to exploit people. If a business has a hard time find people to fill a position, its because they aren't paying enough.

Illegal aliens are here ILLEGALLY, and have NO RIGHT to be in the US. They do not have the right to live here, nor the right to work here. They are not "guest workers", they are ILLEGAL ALIENS.

Mexico seems fine with enforcing immigration control on their southern borders

Their southern borders are also about 1/4 as long as ours. And who wants to immigrate to Mexico? It's not exactly the land of milk and honey.

Thats why we need a high security fence.

I figure we'll be generous. We can build the fence perhaps 10 feet away from the border, on our side. Then put in a moat (wait, they can swim...) and electrify the fence. Install some motion-activated machine gun turrets that shoot anything that crosses the fence. That should do the trick, unless they learn to dig. Oh crap...

and built by a mexican company 😀

Yes, absolutely.

Ask one's self "gee, should every criminal be set free?"

If you answer no then we agree.

If you answer yes, well....then I know where you stand.

Kick the illegals out.

Too bad our worthless legislative branch decided that it was time for a vacation before making that statement into action.

first: stop new entry. build a wall and/or put the national guard on the southern border

until the border is secure, all this other non-sense is silly

What he said! ----^

Phase 1: Secure the border
Phase 2: ______________?
Phase 3: Profits!

i used to believe the "they do jobs americans won't" B.S. , but that is crap.
they depress the wages in those jobs to where some US citizens don't want to do them, but when you remove the illegals that work for an artificial low wage, the wages will rise to a point that US citizens will take the jobs

Yes I think they should all be deported. It isn't going to happen though nor would it be the best place to focus our efforts imo.

The construction industry would implode.

What do you base this statement on?

The percentage of mexicans working in the construction industry...at least in my area, and presumably much of the south.

Wrong, the industry would simply adjust as would all other industries. Do you think homebuilders lowered the price of homes because illegals depressed the wages of such jobs as framing and sheetrocking? They simply make more profit and the homes built are of crappier quality.

Really? That's scary, since my father was a roofer. 100% German, came here legally as well.

Dude, don't mistake my statement as support for the illegals. I am merely pointing it out. All of my ancestors came here legally, and some were even native americans. I hate the fact that thousands upon thousands are coming across the border each month but unless we do something at the source of the problem (the border) it doesn't matter how hard we try to "get rid" of them.

The homes are not built of lesser quality because mexicans are building them, sorry. Of course the builders want to cheap out on materials so they can make a larger profit, but you know that already.

And of course the industry would adjust but I don't think you realize the effect it would have on it still.

It would be perfect! Builders are already doing everything they can to get you to buy a new house from them here in Phoenix. This would just give them an excuse to go back to the days of charging half a million dollars for a three square foot shack on Van Buren.

How about we build a fence/make illegal immigration a non-issue. Then deport actual felons no matter where they were born, and then finally illegal immigrants when we have time.

Which is around 14% overall and a little higher in metro areas. Unless we have found some teleportation device that will deport them all at once the industry will not implode............
