Some, in fact, have to struggle to reach levels of acceptance some of us take for granted. Many people place false assumptions on the "beautiful people" that their lives are somehow made easier because of their looks. While they may receive more attention, it doesn't necessarily make their lives easier.
How do I know?
Well, I worked with a woman I'd deem one of the "beautiful people" and I would see, first-hand, guys practically walking into light poles or into traffic when we'd go to lunch. After a while, she just became "one of the guys" as I got to know her more and more. But, I could tell she wasn't always comfortable with the attention even though she would sometimes use it to her advantage.
