Do you think a full time job and 3 classes is possible?

I have 16 credit hours this semester, actual class time per week is 17.5 hours, and I could imagine maybe working 10 hours a week, no more.

I'm taking 9 credit hours right now and working full time with a kid and wife as well as my Army Reserve commitment. I've previously taken 15 credit hours (5 classes per week to attend on campus) and worked full time as well. I went to two classes over my lunch period, leaving early to get back to work on time and took the remaining three in the evenings. It's possible, but not fun.

yep, i did it and kept a social life... granted i never studied and still pulled a's and b's (double major @ ohio state in cse and microbiology) is beyond me... but i did it...

Sure...I do 4 classes per week, 42 hours of work, and my wonderful girlfriend with little to no problem. Oh, did I mention I have a 1.5 hour one-way commute to college each day?

What kind of classes.
What kind of work.
Where is work.

And why don't you live on campus with that kind of commute.

I've been going to school full-time and working full-time while driving three hours per day.

It's certainly possible.

What do you all consider "full time" student, it's a vary broad term. Could mean only 12 credit hours, could mean 18. Big difference.

Every school that I've heard of considers 12 hours or more to be full-time, so that's what I mean when I say it.

I did a full time job plus 4-5 classes for 2 semesters, no problem. Of course I was doing software engineering at the time...

Makes sense, I figured 12.

Every semester of every year of college I'm mapped out to have either 16 or 17 credit hours. Will I EVER have a job....

I did that last year for two semesters... its doable, but you will have to be dedicated and give up a lot of other activities.

No social life, 4 hrs of sleep per day, sure why not.

QFT

right now I'm having a part time job and full time class (4 class sessions and 2 days of lab) , and working 28 hours a week. I'm doing fine 🙂

Full time and 6 classes (5 3-credits, 1 4-credits) worked for me. After a few semesters of that load, I was completely burnt out. After I graduated, I didn't even bother submitting applications anywhere.

and I'm on call 24/7/365 at my NOC, Full time.

Been working full time all through college on the three year plan for a BS CompSci. I'll graduate in the spring, 2 years and 9 months from day 1.

5-7 classes (3 credits each) per semester plus 3 courses in summer school.

Hmm...right now I have 3 4-credit classes, 1 3-credit, and 1 1-credit. Actual class time of 17.5 hours a week, probably twice that much on homework outside of class. I need a job but just don't think I can fit it in.

yep, I know several people working full time and going to law school part time. However, part time law school is only 1 class less per semester than full time so it's still 3-4 classes.
