I usually just ask politely for them to take me off their calling list, sometimes they are rude and just hang up.

I need to remember to write down their information to make sure.

Between the Do Not Call list and "Please take me off your list," you can pretty much knock them all out.

Best thing you can do is to politely but firmly tell them to take you off their list.

Hanging up on them or being an ass will get you another call within days, if not hours. Even "Not Interested" will get you a call in a few months.
