Do you talk in your sleep?

Every so often my wife says I talk in my sleep. Usually it's work related, i.e. me yelling or complaining about someone.

Last night I said "Can I take you for icanhazcheezburger and fries?"

At first my wife thought I was talking to my cat that was laying on my chest but I was sound asleep after that.

This is a stress problem, if you don't control it now- it's going to get worse as you grow older.

I'm on psych drugs, seeing a therapist and I'm 37.

I'm also beginning to practice meditation again.

The only thing I think I'm lacking is lack of excercise.

What else do you suggest?

At least I'm not flailing my arms about as I used to :\

I talk in my sleep occasionally. The most creepy thing I have ever said was "Red fades to black". I apparently kept repeating that phrase.

A night, during a trip with some friends, I spoke for about half an hour about a date I had with a girl. The morning after they told me what happened and they knew all the fucking details about that date... and I didn't get laid, so I'd say "epic fail" 😀

Hm. I do this too, but generally only when really stressed out. I don't think it's gotten any worse - if anything it's gotten better. I don't know that I do it, but my SO tends to let me know. My previous ones would wake me up and sorta make me feel better. My current one never really complains about me talking in my sleep, but it's also very likely that she just doesn't notice.

I apparently attack in my sleep. I have no idea what I've done when I awake, though; just what my wife tells me. My wife tried to kiss me one night and I punched her in the gut. Another time, when my cat was a kitten, it was biting my hair or something and I punched it into the headboard. I woke up to my wife screaming at me for hitting the kitten and I thought she was having a bad dream and tried to talk her out of it!

When my SO is really, really tired, he has a tendency to talk if he's sleeping and someone or something jostles him half-awake. The sentences make absolutely no sense but are always grammatically correct, and he never has any memory of it afterward.

Once, when I was waking him up from a nap, he looked me right in the eyes and said something like, "You know, it's a good thing that your printer works, because otherwise Mickey Mouse wouldn't like it if there wasn't anything there," closed his eyes again, and promptly started snoring.

His younger brother I guess does the same thing. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

I did when I was younger... like 8 or 9 years old. I don't now, though. Or at least I don't think I do... no one has ever said anything.

When I'm really stressed out or sleep late, I yell hysterically and at times cry in my sleep. Its quite embarassing especially when I have guests over.
