I try to give good advice, EMT since I was 16, been an ER/Triage nurse for 8 years, ~7 years ICU experience.

But stuff like this: sharp chest pains is really hard to diagnose virtually, need vital signs, SaO2, CXR, 12 lead to make sure he doesn't have a congenital cariac abnormality. He really needed an ER visit...

There is a plethora of good medical advice meted out here:

"go see a doctor"
"stop posting and go to the emergency room"
etc...

Of course. A lot of people here are qualified and have valuable experience.


Such as when my heart hurt, and they told me to go to the ER. Now I'm not dead! Yaya!
