Do you take long showers ?

I love long showers. Unless I am rushed I will spend 10 - 20 minutes just enjoying the hot water and especially enjoy showers with high water pressure. My muscles relaxe, and the heat is just overall very soothing to me.

On the other hand my roomates both take very quick showers, and seem to view it as a tedious chore they must perform. The quicker they get it over with the better.

What about you ?

If the shower is in the morning after I get up, I make it as fast as I can.

If it is in the afternoon or evening after I just worked out, I usually take the time to enjoy it.

I guess that depends on the person. I should have worded the question better:

Do you consider your shower time to be long or short ?

Do you try to get the cleaning process done quickly ?

Do you enjoy lingering in the shower ?

I value my time quite a bit. Also I'm not a morning person. So I never will take a long shower in the morning. I'll sleep in as much as I can and then rush through a shower. Sleeping in like that, lets me go to bed much later - where I can enjoy a full evening of fun. A shower is just a waste of time to me - I do it only to please others. Thus I generaly try for 10 minutes or less in the shower.

Now sometimes if I'm cold and sore from a long days work, then I'll take a long relaxing shower in the evening. But that is certainly the exception to the rule.

I'd say average to short, most of the time. If it's a weekday, it's usually between 5 and 10 minutes. On a weekend, it might be 10-15.

I typically take 10-15 minutes, but I don't consider that long. My fiancee's cousin ALWAYS takes at LEAST 1/2 hour. that's pretty long.

I guess my shower time is average then, around 15 minutes.

Just wish we had a 300 gallon hot water heater.

What's the largest hot water heater for residential use?

If I'm in a hurry, I can be in and out completely showered in about 4 minutes. If I take my time and fall asleep under the warm water, I'll be in for 45 minutes - or however long it takes to drain the hot water heater.
