do you take care of your facial skin?

The cheapest ivory or dove soap. Other things make the skin nice for a little while until the fragrance or other additives start to irritate and make conditions worse.

You knew it was coming:

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

I usually just wash with water....sometimes a little soap. I find that if I use harsh soaps it's actually worse b/c I think my skin creates more oil to replace the missing oil that the soap took away.

I use a little moisturizer after shower, some good quality stuff and just enough to keep the skin moist.

I do notice that if I go through a day or 2 where I eat really greasy food my skin will look worse for sure.

I'm 33 though, so acne stage is gone.

I have oily face, so my wife sometimes apply her hydration mask and toner and serum on my face after shower. It works but of course I'm too lazy to consistently do it on my own.

Bah...what a bunch of namby-pamby jackwagons...

I wash my face with whatever bar of soap I'm washing the rest of me. I started using the "scrubby puff" things instead of washcloths though...they work much better than I ever imagined they would.

You mean one of these?:

Yep, wash my face with soap and water. Also sleep with a goat placenta on my face every night; keeps me looking young.

Nah...too liberal for me.😛

Similar to these:

When I scrub...I want to take off skin.

all joking aside, if you really do want to take off skin, then loofah is gong to do that way better than those girly poofs.

just sayin'

...and it's pretty rough, too. reminds you that you're a man. 😀

That's what I always thought as well...but much to my surprise, those things work MUCH better than a loofah.

My first "exposure" to them was when my son brought some back from Okinawa in the mid-90s. I laughed at him...called them girly...tried to convince him that loofahs were superior...so he convinced me to actually try one...Fuck...he was right.
The ones we buy nowadays don't seem to be nearly as "aggressive" as the ones he brought home from Japan though...but they still do a great job of "exfoliating."

I just rub my face directly under the shower til it doesnt feel greasy anymore. Works fine. My nose is covered in black heads though, tried to get rid of them once with the strips but they didn't really do much.

Motorboating a pair of double-Ds for 2 minutes a day not only does wonders for your face, it's good for the soul too.

If I could just convince my wife's friend with the big rack that it's purely a therapeutic process I'd be all set.

Not really. I use aftershave, but that's about it. Almost never explicitly wash it, although that basically happens in the shower anyway.

Asian stores frequently have the more abrasive puffy things or even just a wash cloth that is made from the more abrasive material. The wash cloth is nice because it is long and you can scrub your back with it pretty easily.

I wouldn't know. I don't shop in the Asian stores. (although I used to by nori sheets at one Japanese place...great for saltwater algae loving fish...but that was the only reason I went there)
