One word isn't better than another, nor worse. It's the message that counts, and as long as that message is communicated, your part is done.

If you really believe that then go interview for a job and sprinkle your conversation with the interviewer with plenty of swear words and let us know if you get the job. You are fooling yourself if you believe the way you speak and write does not matter as long as you somehow manage to get your point across.

i usually do if playin a sports or hangin around male friends
but if im around a female i try not 2 😉

Where I used to work, everybody did - to varying degrees. One morning a couple weeks ago one of the techs was moaning and groaning about something to the manager, and the the only response he got was "good fvcking morning to you, too!" 😛

Why is it bad?

It's just words. The only reason words are "bad" is because we define them as such.

I swear in my private life, but at work we have instituted a no profanity rule. $0.25 per infraction. We instituted it because although our mill doesn't care at all, one of our co-workers was making the rest of us look bad, and now he basically takes us out to dinner a couple of times a year (all 8 of us) 😛

I almost never swear, although I have no problem with it.

It's all pretty meaningless to me, so why would I use words that are meaningless to myself?

because i am a lady. I try to prid myself on being "lady-like" or proper. I don't want to have the mouth of a sailor.

I look down on people who dont swear.

I hardly ever swear at work so when I do they know I mean business. I also don?t like casual swearing I think it makes people look stupid. However when used sparingly and effectively they really drive the point home.
