Israel - Against. While I completely value the right of Israel to exist and its people to live in peace, the massive bombing of Beirut (which is far from south Lebanon) is in no way justified. Everyone forgets that military soldiers were taken. Not civilians. And the rocket attacks from Hezbollah did not start until Israel started blowing the sheet out of Lebanon.

Israel: I would like to see Hamas and Hezbollah exterminated, like any infestation should be.
Iraq: I am against this war, given that our government lied about the reasons to invade Iraq.
Afghanistan: The Taliban deserves extermination also.

Another supporter of Genocide?

How is that genocide? How is wishing the elimination of an organization 'genocide'?

I love this guy. He reminds me of Sultan. 'Waaah. You're being racist by discriminating against racists!!!'

Iraq: Messed up regime didn't deserve to be in power. However, more or less making up crap to gather enough support to invade the country isn't acceptable. If he said look Hussien has done this, this, and that he needs to be removed I would have been fine with it. Also, blundering the reconstruction of Iraq is a mistake on such a grand scale it's unimaginable.

Lebanon: Israel doesn't have much choice. If you're enemy wants to play dirty enough you only have a choice of giving in totally or to some degree playing dirty yourself; all that's left is trying to play with as little dirt on your side as possible. Considering many of Israel's enemies have declared they want total destruction of the zionists... I don't see how anyone could expect them to comply. It's a sad fact that civilians are dying, but there's also the fact that they're going out of their way to avoid civilians. I don't know how people can say Israel is targeting civilians when they've outputed enough firepower to kill 10000 and only resulted in 300 civilian deaths. People talk about how much more powerful Israel is and somehow with all that power over this course of time of "targeting civilians" they've only killed 300?

I would love to see the very ideas of extremist Islam and Islamic terrorism removed from the planet. I believe that this form of Islam is pure evil and contributes nothing positive to humanity.

Genocide: The United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide defines the term as: Any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group: (a) Killing members of the group; (b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; (d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; (e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

And the taliban is a religious group. It is more than just a militia. The Hezbolloah is a political organization in which military is just one wing. It has strong religious links.

According to some
Genocide:
The systematic, planned annihilation of an ethnic, racial or political group.

The whole thing is likened to all of the LA police shooting randomly into South Central just because the Crips live there. It's not like all the perverbial victims like the Crips, they're just powerless to do anything about them.

UN Troops have been on the Lebanon boarder for many years now. They dont fight or stop anyone. All they do is observe. Thats why people say UN is the most inafective beuracracy in the world.

I said EU not UN, NATO if we could get our country on board. And yeah, the UN troops that were there were not able to resolve the problem, that is cause to get a more effective force on the ground there, not start a war.

Not quite: The radical Islamist philosophy is not only fundamentaly antagonistic to the values held by most people in Western civilization, it's also expansionist. If they had the opportunity to do so, they would have the entire world governed under Sharia law. These people are the Enemy, and when you have enemies that are perfectly willing to blow themselves up in order to get as many of you as they can, you won't solve the problem by throwing flowers and doves at them.

So would you have also agreed that killing the Nazi's was not the right thing to do?
