Do you still use a VCR?

Well, answer my question! :D

I was wondering this since Tivos are everywhere and DVDs are the main format for watching movies now. Now since they are coming out with DVD set top recorders, is the VCR gonna go?

Mine broke a month ago and I haven't replaced it. The only thing I was using it for was as an extra tuner for picture in picture, but I don't care too mcuh about that.

Of course I do. There are not only series on TV. When I can't watch something, I record it.
DVD recorders are still darn expensive.

I have two perfectly good VCRs sitting on a shelf. Neither is even plugged into the power.

Only to record things, but even then we have two tv tuners for the computers so we just record on that... before those, yes.

I haven't used my VCR since 2000 when I bought a ReplayTV and now we have a DirecTIVO.

Movie wise everything is on DVD.

We have one that my gf's mom bought a few years ago. We don't use it though we now have a DVR.
