I was never into games that much. My friend gave me Doom II on 3.5 floppy back in about 1996, and I played for a couple years with no sound and still had fun. Sadly, I've lost the floppies cause I sure would like tom play it again with high end sound and graphics...

I've played Ascendancy (PC) at least a few times a year since it came out in 1996. It's a 4G strategy game by the Logic Factory. Since I've switched to XP x64, I have to emulate it using DOS Box because it's got 16-bit code in it somewhere. Too bad Dos-Box is such a resource whore.

It's actually because of emulation that I built my current computer. I still play the classic Street Fighters, Mortal Kombats, Double Dragons, Golden Tee Golf, etc. etc. that I grew up playing in the arcades. On my NES/SNES emulators, I still play the Zelda Series, the Mario Brothers series, Metroid, Super Metroid, etc. etc.

Hustle on the TI-99/4A Emulator. I sold my whole TI rig on eBay a few years ago.

System Shock II would be great if it wasn't so annoying and buggy, but Mafia is excellent.
