Do you still have your wisdom teeth?

I don't know why this is odd. I'm 24 and still have my wisdom teeth. They finally started to give me some serious pain. I went to the dentist and he suggested they come out, which I'm totally for since they hurt like hell right now. Everyone here at work is like "you still have them?" and then they go on to tell me some story about their fiasco.

Do you guys still have em!?

I am 30 years old. I have one wisdom tooth left. Last time I went to the dentist she said there was a cavity and it would be easiest to just remove it.

Where is the option for Never Had them? I'm 25, never had them, and the doc says I never will. Lucky me :p

I had 3 removed when I was around 32-they never bothered me but my dentist suggested I do it. My dad had his removed when he was about 53 & I remember he had to do it in the hospital so I figured I better get mine out after the dentist suggested it. They left one in because it was buried in my jaw bone & they were worried they would end up removing too much bone to get it out.

I am 28 and have 1 left as well! lol.
My dentist got exhausted taking the other 3 out. He put the 4th one off for another day. I think it was also because it was the Laker Final that night.
But now the punk wants to refer me to have someone else do it.
It turned out to be some of the toughest wisdom pull he'd done.

Im in no rush to get to it though.

26 and I still have all 4. No crowding issues either, so dentist says I'll probably get to keep them.

My dentist recommended I have them removed when I was 18. I'm now 25, and I still have them. I have absolutely no idea why.

Nope, I had them removed when I was around 18 years old. Good times!

Don't have them removed when I was 19. The surgery wasn't so bad, but recovery kind of sucked (chewing hurt like crazy)

I guess I should have asked about the surgery. Mine are all exposed, so they can yank them any time they want, shouldn't be bad they say. Did any of you guys have to get them out while they were impacted?

I still have two of them in a box somewhere, the other two had to be chopped into little pieces.

Still have mine, am 27.

Don't anticipate them ever giving me any problems, still have plenty of room left.

the older you get the slower the bone will fill back in after the extraction.
get them out asap as it's to your benefit.
