I would not say nervous, but I do things that require a heightened sense of awareness. Landing a plane or an instrument approach, for example. Diving off a steep embankment on a piece of equipment, etc.

whenever i go out fishing and hook my first fish, i always get nervous taking it off the hook. when i was a kid i got cut by a fish and it gave me a phobia of taking fish off my own hook, and to be honest, i did not get over it until 2 years ago when i just went fishing by myself instead of with friends, and it forced me to take it off the hook myself.

went out last friday for the first time this year, and yup, the first fish i caught i got nervous when i had to get it off the hook.

oh i also get nervous/anxiety when i fly. i hate it too because i know rationally that the chances of something bad happening are like .000001%, but regardless when i hit some unexpected turbulance i get a damn knot in my stomach :(

I get nervous when I do something delicate with someone's expensive gadget. I fix a lot of iPhones and iPods and such.

Im the same way. Even though I am a huge fisher I get nervous with each cast if im using a 12' pole and heavy line. A few years ago i was casting on a 12' pole using 10oz weight and 65lb Power Pro braid line, casted out and the line slipped and totally sliced through my finger. Had to get several stitches. Now i wear a glove when I cast.

Same here
I don't fix iPhones though
I remember the first time I installed a LGA 775 CPU I still get nervous that my hand will slip and drop the CPU or accidentally touch the motherboards pins and bend them to hell

I have no experience with the newer Intel Sockets as I am poor :$:whiste: I get 85% of my computer parts second hand

Every time I land my Rotorway.
I've been flying them since '01, my first, I settled at 100% power, as is the norm, one day, ground resonance set in and destroyed it before I knew what was happening.
Nowadays, I drop to 85% just before the skids hit the ground and I'm ready to pull pitch at the slightest vibration.
Still, the idea of destroying a $45K aircraft always makes me nervous.

I don't do it often anymore, but when I do I still get nervous....Docking a boat. Excluding PWC's, they're a piece of cake.

Certain phone calls - don't like talking on the phone all that much.

Meeting with my boss - mostly because you never know where in the hell that meeting will go. Sometimes you get to talk about what you need to and are prepared to do so, other times that's ignored entirely and your off on some random subject. I hate navigating that maze, although getting better. Slightly amusing its so bad since he spends all his time in meetings.

I get nervous all the time. I have a problem with anxiety though, so I may not be a good person to ask.

My biggest problem that gets me nervous is if I don't have a solution for a problem. It drives me crazy and I obsess over it until I know what course of action to take. Then I show up with a solution and everyone calls me a miracle-worker genius.

I'm not a genius...I have a mental disorder :D

Every time I reboot a windows server... I think all admins hold their breath a little when they have to do this though.

Getting the boat out of storage for the first time that year and hoping it runs.

Welding - hoping I don't splatter on my shoe or my kids don't walk in on me when I've struck an arc.

Bike racing. Every time I line up for a criterium I can't help but wonder if i'll be tasting asphalt that day. I should really find a new hobby.
