I smoked clove cigarettes in high school, but quit b/c of how much it stained teeth, and what a nuisance it was. I wasn't too concerned about my health at the time, which was stupid.

I used to smoke on a daily basis in the past. But now, it's limited to those times when I might have a cigarette at a bar, or if I am fishing and have a good cigar to keep me company.

Ratkil: We have pics and mpegs. Please mail $10,000 in small bills to:

Bob's Bermuda Vacation Fund
c/o Vesco's Offshore Bank
Curacao, S.A.

And if it's enough (depends on the exchange rate), we'll think about sending the pics back.

:p :p :p

I watched my mom battle emphazema (sp?) That was enough for me...

Never so much as tried it, and never will.

Main reason not to smoke:

Have a good look at a heavy smokers mouth, all cracked and dried out, looking more like that sarlacc pit from star wars than someones lips. Just plain bug ugly. Its odd, but more people quit smoking because of asthetic reasons than health reasons. And I fully agree, SMOKING IS UGLY!

I gave up like about 12 years ago, but I was never much of a smoker any way, about half a pack a day at the most (I even use too just smoke half a ciggie & stub it out & smoke the rest of it later. Even after I gave up I would still smoke the occasional one when someone offered me one in the pub (so I used to say I just gave up buying them). But for about the last 8 years or more I havent smoked at all. Sometimes after retirerring to the lounge room after dinner I may still get that funny urge to light up, or when I'm in the pub, too. But I just ignore it to the point that that urge is prtty rare these days.

Really its not hard too stop (well for me it was the money issue - I hate spending it, I spose it helps if one is a tightwad), its just a matter of having the right frame of mind.
