You  Cancer.
Im going to die eventually, be it tomorrow, 10 years time, or 70 years time. The chances of me getting hit by a car on my way to work are much higher than me getting cancer...
Keep telling yourself that.
Umm... driving is one of the most deadly activities done on a regular basis by the vast majority of the population. There are stats everywhere showing this (this isn't news). If getting cancer from smoking, which is definately a huge health risk mind you, is MORE dangerous than driving, statistically a good 2/3 to a half of the population living today should be near death right now. Remember, just 40 years ago smoking was very common place.
If this was the case, all R & D for AIDS, all funding for AIDS prevention in Africa, MS funding, MD funding, nearly all other cancer funding, etc. should be put towards lung cancer caused by smoking.
Driving your car down a few blocks or across town, has been statistically shown to be one of the most hazardous actions conducted by unsuspecting people in the U.S.
